Defining the Internet

This piece was written for my Digital Rhetorics course, which focused on theories and forms of online rhetoric and conversation. As one of our first assignments, we were tasked with writing a definition of the internet in the style of a blog post. My attempt can be seen below.

This was a frustrating piece to me, if only because I feel like I could have done much better - the writing style feels much too casual in my opinion, and it drags on unnecessarily. Regardless, I believe it demonstrates my ability to thoroughly explore and analyze a topic - and it also serves as a reminder of the importance of revision, to me.
