Proposal to Reform Course Scheduling

This piece was written for a Professional Writing course focusing on topics related to technical and business writing. Our final assignment was to draft a proposal for an issue on campus. I chose to focus on course scheduling issues, resulting in the proposal below.

 

While I do have my reservations with this piece, I chose to include it nonetheless because it demonstrates my ability to write concisely, pointedly, and professionally. The structure is solid and the information comes across clearly. While my personal surveys failed to turn up many results, leading to a somewhat weak Problem section, I was able to supplement this with university research, and I’m ultimately quite proud of the research I was able to gather and synthesize in such a short time.
